INTRODUCTION

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Muck Truk’s services including septic pumping, maintenance, inspections, and related services. By scheduling or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

SERVICE APPOINTMENTS

  1. Scheduling: All service appointments are subject to availability. We make every effort to arrive within the scheduled time window.
  2. Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to $75.
  3. Access: You must provide reasonable access to your septic system. This includes ensuring that tank covers are accessible or providing information on their location.
  4. Presence: An adult (18+) must be present for the initial consultation or to authorize any additional services beyond the original scope.

PRICING AND PAYMENT

  1. Estimates: We provide estimates based on information provided and initial assessment. Actual costs may vary if additional work is required.
  2. Additional Services: If our technicians discover issues requiring additional services, we will consult you before proceeding with any work that exceeds the original estimate.
  3. Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
  4. Maintenance Plans: Monthly maintenance plans are billed automatically to the payment method on file. You may cancel your plan with 30 days’ written notice.

SERVICE GUARANTEES

  1. Workmanship: We guarantee our workmanship for 30 days following service. If you experience issues related to our work within this period, we will assess and resolve the problem at no additional cost.
  2. System Limitations: Our services cannot guarantee the performance of systems that are at the end of their useful life, improperly installed, or damaged by external factors.
  3. Maintenance Plans: Service guarantees may vary based on your selected maintenance plan. Please refer to your specific plan details.

LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

  1. Property Conditions: Muck Truk is not responsible for unavoidable damage that may occur during necessary access to your septic system, or for pre-existing conditions of your system.
  2. System Failures: We cannot be held liable for system failures that occur due to normal wear and tear, improper use, or conditions outside our control.
  3. Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or service failures due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, natural disasters, or emergency conditions.

SERVICE AREA

  1. Coverage: We service Peoria County and surrounding areas as listed on our website. Service availability may vary by location.
  2. Travel Fees: Additional travel fees may apply for service locations outside our primary service area.

SEPTIC SYSTEM USAGE

  1. Homeowner Responsibility: You are responsible for proper use of your septic system between service visits, including avoiding flushing harmful materials.
  2. Recommended Schedule: We recommend following the maintenance schedule provided by our technicians to preserve your system’s function and lifespan.

PRIVACY

  1. Information Collection: We collect contact information, service details, and payment information to provide and improve our services.
  2. Information Use: Your information is used to provide service, process payments, send service reminders, and communicate about your septic system.
  3. Third Parties: We do not sell your information to third parties. We may share information with service providers who help us operate our business.

MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
